One of York’s tastiest events is bringing two whole weeks of foodie fun – and here’s how to get some delicious deals.
York Restaurant Week returns from Monday 9 to Sunday 22 March. Whether you fancy a quick bite, a long lazy lunch or a full-on feast, you’ll find tempting offers priced between £5 and £30.
We’ve put together a guide to the six venues taking part in the event for the first time – which includes Drift Cafe, Howl, and Love Cheese.
All the offers are now online, priced at either £5, £10, £15, £20, £25 or £30. There is no limit to the amount of offers diners can access, and vouchers are completely free to download.
York Restaurant Week is organised by the York Business Improvement District (York Bid) and is a celebration of the wealth of incredible hospitality businesses in the city.

Police said they received multiple calls about parking on a city road this afternoon (Saturday).
Haxby Road was lined with parked cars due to visitors and spectators going to a game at York St John University Sports Park.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We’re asking all visitors to the sports facility to keep pavements, footpaths, and access routes clear at all times.
“Blocking the pavement – even for a short period – creates hazards for pedestrians, wheelchair users, people with pushchairs, and those with visual impairments.
“Obstructing the pavement can force people into the road, putting them at risk. Your cooperation helps keep the area safe and accessible for everyone.”

An officer was sent to deal with the traffic challenges. Another went to the field asking spectators about cars causing an obstruction. Many of the cars were moved.
“After a lengthy period of time some still had not been moved,” police said.
“For those that moved there cars we thank you for your understanding and support.”
